The woman in uniform among these guys is a specialist with a callsign Coral. Coral with her teammates Sam, Prapor, Kolobok, Kenga and Bustle are all defending Ukrainian sky in the ranks of the Ukrainian Air Defence Forces(UADF) near the town of Uman. These guys are operating soviet-era Buk anti air systems. While these are not the most contemporary machines, just last week alone, UADF destroyed 41 out of 75 missiles that russia unleashed onto peaceful Ukrainian cities and towns. These guys are working very hard to keep Ukrainian sky safe, they spend weeks out in the fields regardless of weather conditions, but they are not always equipped appropriately. Fly By Night Volunteers have assessed needs of this unit and determined what’s needed: medical kits, tourniquets, wind jackets, thermals, gloves, socks and military sleeping bag systems.
